Many newer phones have a fingerprint scanner built-in or include facial recognition software. Our new Mobile App can use these features, (called 'biometric authentication') if they are available on your phone.

By using these features, you can log in to our Mobile App by scanning your fingerprint or face, without the need to enter login details, which can be hard to remember.

Setting up Touch or Face ID at registration

If your supports these features, you will be given the option to enable it when you register to use our Mobile App for the first time, or when logging in on a new phone for the first time.

After successfully logging in or registering, you will be asked whether you would like to enable Touch or Face ID, Tap 'Enable Touch ID to log in' to continue.

When prompted to do so, touch your fingerprint to the scanner, or look into the camera.

When Touch or Face ID is successfully enabled, you will see a confirmation message displayed. Tap 'Got it' to continue.
You can then log in using your face or fingerprint now, and in the future.

Enabling Touch or Face ID at a later stage

If you chose not to set up Touch or Face ID when you first registered, or have changed your mind, you can enable it later:

Log in to your mobile app, as usual, with your password and security question.

Once you are logged into the app, tap icon in the top left of the app to open the main menu.

Tap Tools, then tap Biometric Authentication

Use the slider to switch Touch ID or Face ID on or off:

If enabling Touch ID, your phone's system will ask you to touch your phone's fingerprint scanner to confirm. On Android devices, the message may look like the image below. On iPhones and other devices, it will look different.
